Golf Club Lie is the angle made between the club shaft and the club head.

It is vital to have the correct lie,

so that the club head sole is parallel to the ground at impact with the ball.

Club Head Loft is built into the club head by the  manufacturer from new. Loft determines the ball flight in height and distance.

Golftek uses the "Professional Loft and Lie Bending Gauge", as pictured.

It is vital to have your Loft and Lie checked to determine the correct loft and lie measurements,
as these can be changed by any of reasons listed below.
For example, a 5 iron with a lie that is 4 degrees flat will cause the ball to slice as much as 40ft right!
A 9 iron with a lie that is out 4 degrees upright will cause the ball to hook as much as 20ft left!
Most golfers do not realize the importance of club lie.
It is a vital measurement to achieve the desired ball flight.
